Job Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Answer customer inquiries in person, over the phone or via email, assisting with product selection, order details, and delivery information.
• Order Processing: Accurately process customer orders, ensuring all necessary details such as quantities, styles, and delivery times are confirmed.
• Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the full range of tile products, including sizes, finishes, and available stock, to provide expert advice to customers.
• Sales Support: Assist customers in selecting the right products to meet their needs, upsell additional items where appropriate.
• Data Entry: Maintain accurate customer and order records in the system, ensuring all order details are properly logged and tracked.
• Problem Solving: Address customer concerns or complaints in a professional manner, escalating to management when necessary.

Requirements:

• Experience: Previous experience in customer service, sales, or retail role is preferred. Experience in the tile or construction industry is a plus.
• Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Proficient with computers and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems).
• Attention to Detail: Ability to handle multiple tasks accurately while maintaining a high standard of service.
• Customer-Focused: A friendly and professional attitude when interacting with customers.
• Team Player: Able to work effectively within a team and collaborate with colleagues across departments.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift boxes or tile samples, handle physical tasks, and stand or sit for extended periods.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will prepare accurate and competitive bids for tile installation projects, ensuring that our clients receive the best value and service. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional development within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project plans, specifications, and site conditions to understand project requirements.
• Prepare detailed estimates for tile installation projects, including labor, materials, and equipment costs.
• Conduct take-offs from drawings and documents to quantify materials needed for bids.
• Maintain organized records of estimates, bids, and correspondence
• Research and source materials and subcontractor pricing to ensure competitive bids.
• Review contracts, submit shop drawings and technical data, set up job costing, prepare orders for Purchasing, invoice projects, and complete project closeouts

Qualifications:

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), estimating software, and drafting software, SketchUp knowledge a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of tile installation processes and materials is a plus, but not required.
• Previous experience in construction estimating or related field is a plus, but entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
